Emerging indie alt-rock band, Your Favorite Color, has just dropped a surprise for their fans: an electrifying cover of the Thompson Twins’ 1984 hit, “Hold Me Now.” The release marks a milestone for the band, who promised fans the song if they hit 10,000 followers on Instagram. Now, with nearly 16,000 followers, the band has more than exceeded their goal. Your Favorite Color’s take on “Hold Me Now” is now available on all streaming platforms.

“The band has always drawn inspiration from the 80s,” Your Favorite Color shares. “‘Hold Me Now’ was a track we noticed hadn’t been covered many times before. We thought we’d take a crack at it, and we’re happy with the outcome.”
