Release Date: March 6, 2020 Genre: Metal, Hip-Hop Label: Independent This Friday, up-and-coming Manitoba hip-hip artist is going to release his brand new single, "Riot." Unlike anything he's ever released to date, Ty and his frequent collaborator and producer Spiff take their music to a whole new level with their first time dabbling in the metal rap sub-genre. Here is what Ty Shore has to say about his brand new single:

The song, “Riot” is about being so fed up about the life you’re living because you can’t find that happiness you’re searching for while people demand and expect so much from you. Something that myself and featuring artist, Spiff (Ethan Matthews) can very much relate to. When I first wrote, “Riot” I thought about the people who try to silence the truth. I never want to put out a fake image of myself. Although I’m super positive I still got this rage inside of me so, sometimes after pretending everything is okay for so long, you just hit your breaking point and just gotta say “fuck that shit, let’s start a riot.” This is my first time testing out this genre and I’ve always been a huge fan of Limp Bizkit, so I’ve always wanted to make something that could give off those late 1990s to early 2000s rap rock/nu metal vibes. I could definitely see myself making more of this style of music in the future, but only if the timing is right.
