With a dynamic setlist that blended hits, fan favourites and plenty of new unheard material, the Nashville-based artist showcased why he’s a rising force in the country music scene. Emma Peterson kicked off the night with “Maybe Tonight,” drawing in the audience with her smooth vocals and undeniable charm. She moved seamlessly through songs like “Hurt Like Hell” and “Backroad Dreams,” bringing a local flair to the evening. The crowd especially enjoyed her Taylor Swift cover medley, a surprise treat that had everyone singing along. Peterson closed her set with her two biggest and infectious songs, “Got It Back” and “Just For The Record,” leaving the stage with an applause that set the tone for Redferrin's arrival. Redferrin wasted no time in making an impression, diving right into “Red In My Last Name” with a powerful stage presence that had the crowd hooked from the first note. His raspy vocals and charismatic energy kept the momentum high, especially during fan favourites like “Stuck” and “Tell 'Em Why.” With an electric cover of Florida Georgia Line's “Lil Bit,” Redferrin paid homage to his songwriting roots, later revealing he penned several tracks for the country duo, including “Countryside,” which he also performed a cover of.

The night reached a peak when Redferrin surprised fans with two unreleased songs: “In A Creek,” a gritty, laid-back collaboration with Wiz Khalifa, and “Everybody Back Home,” a track he wrote for Jason Aldean. These songs showed Redferrin’s versatility, blending traditional country themes with a modern twist that felt fresh and exciting. Continuing to perform tracks from past and present, Redferrin burned through many other fan faves like “She's Like Whiskey,” “Champagne In The Morning,” “Just Like Johnny,” “Jack and Diet Coke,” and his full-blown rap arrangement “Mossy Oak.” He ended his set with an electrifying second performance of “Jack and Diet Coke,” but revealed he has an unreleased remix version featuring Juicy J, that he performed to close out the eventful evening.

Overall, Redferrin’s Winnipeg stop on the Old No. 7 Tour was a testament to his growing influence in the country music world. Between Peterson's local charm and Redferrin's genre-blending sound, the night was an unforgettable experience that highlighted both artists' ability to connect with the audience and leave a lasting impression. The Park Theatre was alive with energy, proving that Redferrin's and Peterson's star is only going to keep rising.
