The Desert Dreaming Tour: Dustin Kensrue, The Brevet, and Brother Bird - Santa Ana, CA

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, Dustin Kensrue closed out his Desert Dreaming Tour at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. The tour started on April 24 in Austin, TX. The Brevet and Brother Bird have been supporting Dustin through the entirety of the tour.

First up was Brother Bird, who got the crowd warmed up for the night. Vocalist Caroline Swon would switch between playing the guitar and keyboard throughout the set. They performed songs from their new album, Another Year, which was released back in March. The Brevet was next and they came out with great energy from the start of their set. Especially, lead vocalist Aric Damm, who had unbelievable energy throughout the entire set. They had the crowd singing along to parts of a song with them. This show happened to be their hometown show as the group is from Orange County.

Dustin Kensrue hit the stage and fans immediately went wild. He sang songs from his new album ‘Desert Dreaming’ as well as many of his other songs. Dustin brought out Caroline Swon from Brother Bird to help him sing "Death Valley Honeymoon," which he wrote about his grandparents. At one point he put on his harmonica and would play it along with the guitar. During his entire set fans were singing along and dancing to every word. He had such good energy and gave a great performance.
